Indiana Jones Infernal Machine – Nintendo 64 Game

A third-person action-adventure that puts Indiana Jones in the years after the Second World War, travelling between ruins, temples and other remote sites in search of the pieces of an ancient machine. Play is built around climbing, jumping and whip-swinging across ledges and chasms, combined with environmental puzzles involving switches, moving blocks and machinery. Indy carries a revolver and other weapons for encounters with soldiers, animals and other threats, but many rooms are solved by working out how the architecture fits together rather than by shooting. The camera follows Indy through large indoor and outdoor spaces, and levels are long enough that you often circle back to areas once you have found the right item. The Nintendo 64 version adapts the PC release.
