Italian Job – PS2 Game

The Italian Job on PlayStation 2 is a driving game structured around heist missions. You drive compact cars, Mini-style hatchbacks included, through city environments while completing objectives that include beating timers to checkpoints, evading police, escorting or delivering, and outrunning vehicles chasing you. The handling model is arcade-oriented, built for sharp turns, jumps and shortcuts through pedestrian areas rather than realistic simulation, and collisions with traffic and scenery both slow you down and damage your car. Missions are attempted one at a time and restarted on failure, so route knowledge builds up over repeated runs. In addition to the story missions, the game offers separate modes for racing and driving freely around the environments, and a selection of unlockable cars to use in them.
