Jeopardy – PS2 Game

This PlayStation 2 version of Jeopardy recreates the quiz show’s format for home play. You select clues from a category grid, buzz in ahead of your rivals, and phrase your response as a question. The game runs through the standard rounds, including Double Jeopardy with its increased values, Daily Doubles that allow wagering, and a Final Jeopardy round where you set a bet before the last clue is revealed. Clues span general knowledge areas such as history, literature, science, geography and popular culture. You can play alone against computer contestants or hand the controller between human players, with running scores displayed on the podiums. Answers are entered using an on-screen interface, and the presentation follows the show’s board layout, sound cues and round-by-round pacing.
