Jersey Devil – PS1 Game

Jersey Devil is a 3D platformer for the original PlayStation. You control the Jersey Devil, a small caped creature with clawed hands, as you make your way through a series of themed levels filled with enemies, hazards and hidden items. Movement mixes standard platforming with attacks and gliding, letting you close on foes or cross gaps that jumping alone cannot manage. Levels lean on a cartoonish horror atmosphere, with pumpkins, mutant plants and other Halloween-flavored imagery, and each area asks you to reach an exit while collecting pickups along the way. Boss encounters break up the stages. The camera follows behind the character in the style of the era’s other mascot platformers, and progress is measured by clearing levels one at a time.
