Jikandia

Jikandia: The Timeless Land is a role-playing game for the PlayStation Portable in which a group of young characters is pulled out of their ordinary lives and into a strange world they have to explore and survive. Rather than turn-based menus, combat plays out in side-scrolling action stages, where you run, jump and attack enemies directly while managing your party’s abilities and equipment. Between excursions you return to a base of operations to prepare, spend earned rewards and take on the next area. The presentation uses anime-styled character art and colourful 2D environments, and the story is delivered through dialogue scenes between the cast as they try to understand the land they are trapped in. It suits players who want an action-driven take on handheld RPG progression.
