Jimmy Neutron Boy Genius – PS2 Game

Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius on PlayStation 2 is an action platformer based on the animated film about Retroville’s young inventor. After aliens abduct the town’s adults, Jimmy and his friends set out to get them back, and the game turns that story into a run of 3D stages. You guide Jimmy through jumping and climbing sections, collect items, deal with enemies and make use of his gadgets and his robot dog Goddard along the way, with story scenes linking the levels together. Characters and settings are taken from the film, and the visuals imitate its rounded CG style with bright colours and simple layouts. The pacing and difficulty are pitched at younger players, making it a straightforward platformer for fans of the source material.
