A Sega Genesis football game built around spoken play-by-play commentary, which reacts to what happens on the field as you play. You call plays from a playbook, take direct control of your players for passes, runs and tackles, and work through drives with downs, yardage and the game clock displayed on screen. The perspective scrolls with the action, and instant replays let you review plays. Games can be played against the computer or against a second player. The commentary and stadium presentation are a central part of the package, with crowd sound and on-screen graphics framing each snap. Control is arcade-leaning, so drives move quickly while still following standard football rules.
