Justice League Task Force – Sega Genesis Game

Justice League Task Force is a one-on-one fighting game for the Sega Genesis using DC Comics characters. The roster mixes League members such as Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman and the Flash with villains including Darkseid and Cheetah, each with their own normal attacks and special moves performed with directional inputs. Matches are round-based with health bars and a timer, played in single-plane arenas backed by comic-styled backdrops. A single-player ladder takes you through a sequence of opponents, and two players can fight head to head on one console. Character designs lean on the comics rather than a specific cartoon, with super powers folded into the standard fighting-game move set, so heat vision, speed dashes and heavy grappling attacks all appear as special techniques. Controls follow the conventions of the era’s arcade-style fighters.
