King’s Field 2 – PS1 Game

King’s Field 2 is a first-person role-playing game with real-time exploration and combat. You move through a large interconnected environment of caves, ruins and outdoor paths, unlocking doors, finding hidden passages and gradually opening routes that make backtracking quicker. Fighting takes place directly in the first-person view: you swing, retreat and manage stamina rather than choosing actions from menus, and mistiming an attack leaves you exposed. Equipment is found rather than bought in bulk, with swords, bows, armour and rings changing how you approach encounters, while magic is cast from a separate pool. Some enemies are far stronger than others in the same area, so learning what to avoid is part of progressing. Story details come mainly from item text and brief exchanges with the few characters you meet.
