Klonoa – Wii Game

A platformer for the Wii, rebuilt from the original Klonoa: Door to Phantomile. You play as Klonoa, moving along a 2D path that winds through fully 3D environments, so enemies and platforms in the background and foreground become part of the level design. Klonoa’s Wind Ring inflates enemies so he can pick them up and either throw them at targets or use them to launch himself into a double jump, which forms the basis of both the combat and the platforming puzzles. Stages are grouped into visions that each end in a boss fight, with hidden collectibles tucked into side paths. The remake uses updated character models and visuals along with redrawn cutscenes to retell the original story.
