Knockout Kings 2000 – PS1 Game

Knockout Kings 2000 is a licensed boxing game built around real professional fighters from several eras. You control your boxer from a ringside camera, using separate inputs for jabs, hooks, uppercuts and body shots along with blocking, leaning away and tying up an opponent. Throwing punches drains stamina, so conserving energy and picking your moments is part of each round, and repeated damage causes cuts and knockdowns counted by the referee. Modes include one-off exhibition bouts, tournaments and a career in which you create a fighter, train between matches to improve attributes, and climb through ranked opponents toward title fights. Two players can box against each other. The PlayStation version uses 3D fighters in a fully modelled ring with commentary and corner sequences between rounds.
