Last Action Hero – Sega Genesis Game

A Sega Genesis action game adapted from the Last Action Hero film. You take the role of action star cop Jack Slater and fight through side-scrolling stages using punches, kicks, and jumping attacks against waves of thugs. Levels are set across locations drawn from the movie, and some sections change up the format rather than sticking to on-foot brawling throughout. A health bar tracks damage taken, and reaching the end of each stage usually means facing tougher enemies who absorb more hits. The game uses the standard Genesis three-button layout for attacks and jumps, with sprite-based visuals and a rock-flavoured soundtrack. It is a compact, level-by-level beat ’em up in the style common to film tie-ins on 16-bit consoles.
