Legend of Heroes II Prophecy of the Moonlight Witch – PSP Game

A turn-based role-playing game in Falcom’s Legend of Heroes series, released for PSP. The story follows two young travellers who set out on a pilgrimage across the land, visiting a series of shrines and the towns and wilderness between them. Structure is episodic: each leg of the journey brings a new region, its own local troubles and characters who join or accompany you for a time. Combat is menu-based, with attacks, magic and items selected each turn, and characters grow through levelling, equipment and magic acquired along the way. The visuals use sprite-based characters over hand-drawn environments, and much of the game is spent in dialogue with the people you meet. Its self-contained chapters and short dungeons fit handheld play well.
