Legend of Kay Anniversary – Wii U Game

An updated release of a third-person action platformer starring Kay, a young cat trained in martial arts who takes up his master’s weapons after his village is overrun. You travel through a series of themed environments, fighting groups of enemies with combo-based melee attacks, collecting currency and upgrades, and taking on light platforming and puzzle sections. New weapons and moves become available as you progress, and some stages include riding sequences and mini-game style diversions to break up the combat. The world is populated by anthropomorphic animals, with an animated, cartoon-styled art direction and voiced dialogue driving a fairly straightforward adventure story. This version features updated visuals over the original release. It plays on the Wii U with the GamePad or a Wii U Pro Controller.
