Legends of Wrestling – Gamecube Game

Legends of Wrestling is a wrestling game whose roster is drawn from past eras of the sport, bringing together names who made their reputations before the game’s release rather than a single promotion’s current lineup. Matches take place in the ring and use a grappling system built around tie-ups, holds, strikes and signature finishers, with a momentum meter that governs when big moves can be attempted. Match types cover one-on-one bouts, tag team matches and multi-man contests, and you can adjust rules and stipulations before a fight. Alongside quick exhibition matches there is a career path that takes a wrestler through a run of opponents. Multiple players can compete locally on one GameCube. Commentary, entrances and crowd presentation frame the action in television style.
