Legends of Wrestling II – PS2 Game

Legends of Wrestling II is a wrestling game for the PlayStation 2 built around a roster of veteran and classic-era grapplers rather than an active promotion’s current lineup. Matches use a grappling system based on timed reversals and chain holds, with strikes, running attacks, submissions and signature finishing moves. You can compete in singles bouts or multi-wrestler formats, and rule variations such as cage and hardcore-style matches change how a match can be won. A career mode has you touring venues, building a reputation and working through opponents, while a creation suite lets you build custom wrestlers by adjusting appearance, attire and move sets. Multiple players can compete locally. Presentation includes entrances, crowd reaction and commentary, and the emphasis throughout is on recreating older wrestling styles and matchups.
