Legends of Wrestling – PS2 Game

Legends of Wrestling assembles a roster of wrestlers known from earlier decades of the business, letting you match up performers from different promotions and eras. Wrestling is handled through a grapple-based system: you tie up with opponents, chain holds and reversals, mix in strikes and aerial moves, and build momentum toward signature finishers before going for a pin or submission. Available bout types include singles, tag team and multi-wrestler matches, with rules and stipulations you can set beforehand. Exhibition matches sit alongside a career mode that sends a chosen wrestler through a series of opponents. Several players can take part locally on one PlayStation 2 for tag and multi-man matches. Entrances, arena crowds and commentary give bouts a broadcast presentation.
