Lemmings 2 The Tribes – Sega Genesis Game

The sequel to Lemmings expands the formula with a much larger toolkit of skills and a structure built around separate lemming tribes, each with its own visual theme and level set. As before, lemmings walk forward without regard for their own safety and you assign jobs to individual creatures to carve through terrain, bridge gaps, block the crowd or slow a fall. The additional skills introduce more unusual tools than the original game’s six, and levels are designed around them. Progress through a tribe’s stages is tracked by how many lemmings you manage to save, so results carry forward rather than simply passing or failing. The Genesis version uses a cursor-driven interface with an on-screen panel for selecting skills.
