Lethal Enforcers II – Sega Genesis Game

Lethal Enforcers II moves Konami’s shooting series from a modern city to the Old West. You play a lawman working through frontier scenarios, aiming a crosshair at outlaws while avoiding the townspeople and other innocents who appear on screen. Period weapons replace the modern firearms of the first game, with pickups letting you swap your revolver for heavier guns during a stage. Like its predecessor, it is a stationary shooter built from digitized photographic sprites: the game scrolls and cuts between scenes on its own while you concentrate on picking targets, reloading, and staying accurate. Shooting bystanders costs you, so restraint matters. The Genesis version can be played with a light gun accessory or with a standard control pad moving the crosshair.
