Lode Runner The Legend Returns – PS1 Game

Lode Runner: The Legend Returns brings the classic puzzle-platform formula to PlayStation. Each single-screen stage is a lattice of ladders, ropes and brick floors holding piles of gold. You must collect every piece of gold to open the way out while enemies patrol the level and chase you. You cannot attack directly; instead you burn holes in the brick floors to drop foes into traps, block their paths, or tunnel down to unreachable ledges. Holes refill after a short time, so bad timing can bury you along with your pursuers. The game adds colourful redrawn graphics, hazards and item pickups to the original design, and includes a large set of puzzle stages plus a two-player cooperative mode. Solutions rely on planning your digging order rather than fast reflexes.
