Loopz – Gameboy Game

Loopz is a puzzle game built around a simple idea: pieces of line and curve appear one at a time, and you rotate and place them on a grid to form closed loops. Completing a loop clears those segments from the board and scores points, with larger and multiple loops worth more. Pieces keep arriving whether or not you have somewhere sensible to put them, so the challenge is managing space and leaving yourself openings to finish shapes rather than stranding fragments. Different play modes vary the goals and the pace, and the difficulty builds as pieces arrive faster. Controls are limited to moving, rotating and dropping, which suits the Game Boy’s handheld format and short play sessions. Presentation is deliberately minimal, with the focus entirely on the grid and the falling shapes.
