Lost Kingdoms – Gamecube Game

An action role-playing game for GameCube built around a deck of cards. You play as Katia, a young woman who wields magic stones that let her summon creatures and cast spells, all represented by cards you collect and assemble into a deck before each mission. In the field, combat happens in real time within enclosed areas: you draw from your deck and play cards to call up attacking monsters, defensive creatures, terrain effects and direct spells, with cards consumed as you use them. Running out of cards ends the run, so managing your deck matters as much as reacting to enemies. Between stages you spend earned currency on new cards, transform duplicates into different creatures and rebuild your deck to suit the next area.
