Mace Dark Age – Nintendo 64 Game

Mace: The Dark Age is a weapon-based one-on-one fighting game brought to the Nintendo 64 from the arcade. Fighters are drawn from a dark medieval fantasy setting, and each carries a signature weapon such as a sword, axe or staff, so exchanges are built around armed strikes, blocks and combo strings rather than punches and kicks. Matches take place in 3D arenas viewed from the side, with sidestepping used to move around an opponent. Characters have their own throws, special attacks and finishing moves. The game includes single-player progression through a series of opponents as well as head-to-head play for two people on the same console. Difficulty settings and match options can be adjusted before a fight begins.
