Mach Rider – NES Game

Mach Rider is a motorcycle action game for the Nintendo Entertainment System. You ride through a bleak future setting, viewed from behind the bike, steering between obstacles and hostile riders while managing your speed and gears. Your machine is armed, so you can shoot vehicles that block the road instead of only swerving around them, and colliding with hazards costs you time and momentum. The road stretches through changing terrain and weather conditions that affect handling and visibility. Alongside the main mode, the game includes a design option that lets you lay out your own course sections and then ride them. Play is score- and distance-driven, with the aim of reaching the end of each stretch before the timer runs out.
