Mad Dog McCree – Sega CD Game

Mad Dog McCree is a full-motion-video shooting gallery game on Sega CD. Everything you see is live-action Western footage shot with actors, and you take the role of a gunslinger hired to clean up a frontier town, rescue the mayor and his daughter, and eventually face the outlaw Mad Dog McCree himself. Play is from a first-person view: scenes run and you must aim and shoot bandits the instant they draw, reloading between exchanges. Shooting too slowly costs a life, and hitting townspeople is punished. Locations include the town street, a saloon, a mine and an outlaw camp, reached by choosing where to go next. The Sega CD version supports a standard controller, a mouse or a compatible light gun.
