Madagascar Escape 2 Africa – Wii Game

The Wii version of the film tie-in puts you in control of Alex, Marty, Melman and Gloria after they leave Madagascar and arrive in Africa. Stages mix third-person platforming, simple combat and objective-based tasks, switching between characters as the story moves through jungle, savannah and watering hole environments. On Wii, movement uses the Nunchuk while the Wii Remote handles attacks and action moves through motion gestures. Mini-game style challenges and chase sequences break up the main levels, and the penguins appear as part of the plot. Cutscenes retell the film’s story between stages, and the overall design is pitched at younger players, with straightforward controls and forgiving platforming. Some challenges can be played with a second person joining in.
