Madden 2003 – PS1 Game

A late PlayStation release in EA Sports’ NFL football series. You choose from NFL teams and play exhibition games, seasons, playoffs or franchise play, selecting plays from a playbook screen before each snap and then taking direct control for passing, rushing, kicking and defence. Audibles and pre-snap adjustments are available, and the game handles penalties, injuries and substitutions during matches. Franchise play lets you manage rosters, trades and drafting over multiple seasons. Presentation includes broadcast-style camera work, commentary and crowd audio, with statistics tracked for teams and players. Difficulty, quarter length and rule options can be adjusted to change the pace of a game, and a second player can take the opposing team on the same console.
