Madden 2005 – Gamecube Game

Madden NFL 2005 on Nintendo GameCube is an installment in EA Sports’ American football series. You select an NFL team and play through exhibition matches, full seasons or a multi-year franchise mode where you handle rosters, the draft and player development. On the field you call plays from offensive and defensive playbooks, then take direct control for passing, rushing, tackling and kicking. This entry places particular emphasis on defensive play, including pre-snap defensive adjustments and hot routes that let you shift coverage and assignments before the ball is snapped. Broadcast-style presentation covers the action with commentary and on-screen statistics. Two players can compete head-to-head on one console, and difficulty settings plus adjustable rules let you decide how demanding the simulation is.
