Madden NFL 11 – PSP Game

Madden NFL 11 on the PlayStation Portable is a handheld entry in EA’s football series. Play centres on choosing formations and plays from a playbook, then controlling a player on the field to throw, run, block or tackle. You can play individual games, run through a season, and manage a team over multiple years, with difficulty, quarter length and penalty options to tune the experience. Controls are mapped to the PSP’s analog nub and buttons, and the camera and menus are arranged for the system’s screen. Presentation includes on-field stat and score overlays plus commentary-style audio between plays. Visuals and crowd detail are reduced compared with the home console versions of the same year, but the essentials of reading the defense and executing plays remain the focus of each snap.
