Passing, running, tackling and kicking all use the analog nub and face buttons, with an on-screen play-call menu between downs. Beyond single games, the handheld release includes team management options that let you follow a franchise across multiple seasons, handling the roster as results come in. Presentation covers stadium crowds, commentary-style audio and NFL branding. Games can be played solo against the AI, and the portable format suits shorter sessions of one game at a time.
