Mario Kart 64 – Nintendo 64 Game

Mario Kart 64 brings the kart racing series to the Nintendo 64 with polygonal tracks and eight drivers from the Mario cast, split across lighter and heavier weight classes. Races run over multiple laps with item boxes supplying shells, bananas, mushrooms and stars, and drifting around corners builds a short speed boost. Grand Prix play groups tracks into cups across three engine classes, and Time Trials let you race ghost data of your best runs. Battle mode places players in enclosed arenas where each has three balloons to lose. Multiplayer supports up to four players in split screen for both racing and battles, and two-player Grand Prix is available. Track design mixes wide open circuits with narrow, hazard-filled routes and shortcuts.
