Mario Kart Wii – Wii Game

Mario Kart Wii supports both karts and motorbikes, with bikes able to perform wheelies for extra straight-line speed. Races hold up to twelve racers, and tricks off ramps and jumps grant small boosts. The roster covers Mario series characters plus Mii support, and vehicles differ in speed, handling and drift behaviour. Grand Prix runs through cups across engine classes, with time trials, versus races and battle modes in arenas. Online play allows races and battles against other players, along with worldwide time trial rankings and ghost data. The game can be played with the Wii Remote held sideways in the Wii Wheel accessory, or with the Nunchuk, Classic Controller or GameCube controller. Local split screen supports multiple players, and the track list includes both new courses and remade circuits from earlier games.
