Mario Tennis Open – Nintendo 3DS Game

Mario Tennis Open is a tennis game for Nintendo 3DS starring characters from the Mario series. Matches are played in singles or doubles, with shot types mapped to buttons and to on-screen touch icons, letting you choose between manual control and simpler tap-based play. Chance Shots place coloured markers on the court; standing on one and using the matching shot type produces a stronger topspin, slice, lob, drop or flat return. Alongside standard tournaments there are variant minigames that change the court and rules, including modes that use the 3DS gyroscope for a first-person view behind your player. You can also outfit your Mii with unlockable gear that adjusts stats such as speed and spin, and play matches locally or online.
