Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 – PS2 Game

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 continues the overhead action role-playing format of the first game, with a four-character team assembled from a Marvel roster. Its story draws on Marvel’s Civil War material, and at a point in the campaign you choose which side of the conflict to support, which shapes who fights with you afterwards. Combat mixes melee strings with special powers tied to an energy meter, and the sequel adds fusion attacks that combine two heroes’ abilities into a single large-scale move. Experience earned in battle is spent upgrading powers and abilities, and you can rearrange your team between missions. Levels are broken up by boss encounters against Marvel villains, and additional players can join the same screen to control team members.
