Maximo Ghosts to Glory – PS2 Game

Maximo: Ghosts to Glory is a 3D action platformer in which you play the knight Maximo, returned from the dead to rescue his kingdom and his lost love from the sorcerer who took them. Gameplay draws on the Ghosts ‘n Goblins tradition: you fight skeletons and other undead with a sword and shield, buy upgrades and armour, and lose your armour when hit, leaving Maximo running around in his boxer shorts before the next blow costs you a life. Levels are built as linked stages with keys, hidden areas, breakable scenery and platforming hazards. Death coins let you bargain with the Grim Reaper for extra continues. The difficulty is front and centre, with limited lives and checkpoints across gothic castles, graveyards and caverns.
