Me and My Katamari – PSP Game

Me and My Katamari is a puzzle-action game for the PlayStation Portable in which you roll a sticky ball that picks up anything smaller than itself. You start with small objects such as sweets, stationery and insects, and as the katamari grows you can absorb furniture, animals, people and eventually far larger things. Most stages set a size target and a time limit, with the layout opening up as your ball gets big enough to reach new areas. The handheld version adapts the series’ twin-stick steering to the PSP’s controls, and its framing story has you rebuilding islands as a resort for animals, with new areas and requests unlocked as you go. Presentation keeps the bright, flat visual style and offbeat soundtrack the series is known for.
