Mechanized Attack – NES Game

Mechanized Attack is a light gun shooter for the Nintendo Entertainment System, adapted from an arcade original. You face waves of enemy soldiers, vehicles and mechanical war machines that appear across a scrolling battlefield, firing at them before they can damage you. Ammunition is limited, so you reload by shooting off-screen and can pick up power-ups and extra weaponry during a stage. Each level builds toward a larger armoured target that takes sustained fire to bring down. The game supports the NES Zapper, and can also be played with a standard controller by moving an on-screen crosshair. Play is score-focused and fairly short, structured around surviving each assault with the health and ammunition you have left rather than exploring or moving freely.
