Mega Man Legends – PS1 Game

Mega Man Legends moves the series into 3D action-adventure on PlayStation. You play as Mega Man Volnutt, a Digger who explores underground ruins in search of ancient refractor energy, accompanied by Roll and Data. Movement and combat take place in third person: you have a standard arm cannon plus special weapons built from parts recovered in the ruins, and Roll can develop new equipment from the junk and blueprints you bring back. Between expeditions you explore Kattelox Island, talking to residents, taking on optional errands and watching the town react to your actions. The air pirate Bonne family repeatedly interrupts with mechanical bosses. The game mixes dungeon crawling, light puzzle solving and open exploration, with an upbeat cartoon art style and full voice acting in cutscenes.
