Mega Man X5 – PS1 Game

Mega Man X5 is a PlayStation entry in the side-scrolling X series, playable as either X or Zero and letting you swap between them across missions. A countdown looms over the campaign as a space colony threatens to fall to Earth, and your progress in stages affects the odds of stopping it, giving the mission select a layer of time pressure. Beyond the usual chargeable buster, saber combat and Maverick weapons, the game adds a parts system that lets you equip upgrades to boost speed, defense and buster behavior. Stages hide heart tanks, sub tanks and armor components, and each Maverick boss has a weakness you can exploit with a weapon taken from another stage. Dashing, wall jumping and air dashing remain the backbone of the movement.
