Mega Man X6 – PS1 Game

Mega Man X6 continues the PlayStation run of the X series, with X and Zero available as playable characters and stages selected from a mission menu. Levels are built around a Nightmare system that alters hazards and layouts, and each stage contains trapped Reploids you can choose to rescue for parts and bonuses or lose if you are too slow or too careless. X can equip armor sets with different abilities, and both characters draw on the familiar toolkit of dashing, wall jumping and boss weapons obtained by defeating Mavericks. Sub tanks, heart tanks and hidden upgrades are scattered through the levels, often behind precise platforming. The game keeps the series’ sprite-based visuals and voiced story scenes while pushing stage hazards and enemy placement toward tighter, more demanding routes.
