Metal Saga – PS2 Game

Metal Saga is a post-apocalyptic role-playing game for the PlayStation 2, part of the long-running Metal Max line of games. You travel a ruined open world as a bounty hunter, tracking down wanted monsters and machines for reward money rather than following a single tightly scripted path. Combat is turn-based, and much of the game revolves around tanks: you find, repair, upgrade and re-arm vehicles, swapping engines, chassis and weapons to suit the enemies you expect to face. Characters can also fight on foot outside their tanks. Exploration is loose and often optional, with towns to resupply in and plenty of wandering between objectives. The tone is dry and offbeat, mixing scrapyard technology with desert wasteland settings.
