Metal Slug Anthology – PSP Game

Metal Slug Anthology is a compilation of games from SNK’s run-and-gun series, gathered onto a single UMD for the PlayStation Portable. Each included game is a side-scrolling shooter in which you run, jump, shoot and throw grenades through stages of enemy soldiers, tanks and aircraft, freeing prisoners of war to pick up heavier weapons and boarding the series’ Metal Slug tanks and other vehicles. The collection covers the original Metal Slug, the enhanced Metal Slug X and later numbered entries, letting you move between them from a single menu. Presentation across the set is hand-drawn sprite art with dense animation and large multi-phase bosses. Each game keeps its arcade structure, so runs are short, difficult and built around learning enemy patterns.
