Midnight Resistance – Sega Genesis Game

Midnight Resistance is a run-and-gun action game on the Sega Genesis, converted from the arcade original. You move through side-scrolling stages on foot, shooting enemy soldiers, turrets, vehicles and mechanical bosses. The game uses a key system: keys collected from defeated enemies are spent at armory doors between sections, where you choose weapons and upgrades such as spread shots, three-way fire and extra items rather than picking them up at random. Your character can aim in multiple directions while moving, and stages mix ground combat with climbing, moving platforms and turret sequences. Difficulty is high in the arcade tradition, with limited lives and enemies attacking from several directions at once. The story frames the action as a rescue of the hero’s captured family.
