Miracle Warriors – Sega Master System Game

Miracle Warriors is a role-playing game for the Sega Master System, built around exploring a fantasy world from an overhead perspective. You guide a hero who gradually gathers companions, travelling between towns, dungeons and wilderness regions in search of the equipment and information needed to confront the forces threatening the land. Wandering the map triggers random encounters that switch to a menu-driven battle screen, where enemies are shown as illustrated portraits and you choose attacks and actions for your party. Victory brings experience and gold, which fund better weapons, armour and supplies from shops. Townspeople supply hints about where to go next, and progress depends on careful preparation as well as levelling up. Character stats, inventory management and a large overworld to chart give the game a deliberate, exploration-heavy pace.
