Monsters Inc – PS2 Game

A PlayStation 2 action-platformer based on the Pixar film Monsters, Inc. You take control of the film’s monsters and work through 3D stages set around Monstropolis and the scare factory, using running, jumping and climbing to reach objectives while avoiding hazards and pursuers. The game follows the broad shape of the film’s story, with Sulley, Mike and the small human girl Boo central to the setup, and stages mix platforming with light collection and objective-based tasks. Controls and difficulty are pitched at a family audience, with clear goals and frequent checkpoints. Presentation draws directly on the film’s characters, environments and humour, making it a straightforward licensed platformer rather than a challenge-focused one.
