Mortal Kombat 3 – Sega Genesis Game

Mortal Kombat 3 brings the arcade fighter to the Genesis with digitized sprites, one-on-one matches and the series’ finishing moves. The roster includes returning fighters such as Sub-Zero, Sonya Blade and Kano alongside newcomers introduced in this entry, and cyborg characters figure into the lineup. Combat adds chain combos that let you string preset sequences of hits together, plus a run button that closes distance quickly and keeps rounds moving faster than in earlier games. Some stages include pits and other level-specific hazards, and certain floors let you knock an opponent through the ceiling into another arena. You can play through a ladder of computer-controlled opponents or take on a second player head to head, and hidden codes and secrets are part of the package.
