Mortal Kombat 3 – SNES Game

The Super Nintendo version of Mortal Kombat 3 is a one-on-one fighter built from digitized character sprites. You choose from a roster that mixes returning fighters like Sub-Zero, Sonya Blade and Kano with characters introduced in this installment, including cybernetic ninjas. Matches are best-of-three rounds, and each fighter has special moves, chain combos and finishing moves performed on a dazed opponent. A run button and a run meter let you rush in and pressure the other player. Stages include hazards and interactive elements, with some arenas connected so a strong uppercut sends an opponent through the ceiling. Play the single-player tower against the CPU or face a friend in two-player versus. Codes and hidden matches are tucked into the game for players who go looking.
