Mortal Kombat Deception – PS2 Game

Mortal Kombat: Deception is a 3D fighter built around switchable combat styles. Each character has multiple stances, including armed and unarmed options, and you can change between them during a match to extend combos. Arenas contain hazards and death traps that can finish a round instantly if an opponent is knocked into them, and traditional Fatalities are still performed after the final round. The PlayStation 2 version includes the Konquest mode, where you explore areas, talk to characters and complete combat training objectives as part of a story campaign. Two alternate modes round out the package: Chess Kombat, a strategy board game where captures are settled with fights, and Puzzle Kombat, a competitive falling-block game using chibi versions of the roster. Standard versus play supports two players locally.
