Mortal Kombat II – Sega Genesis Game

Mortal Kombat II on the Sega Genesis is a home conversion of the arcade fighting game, built around digitized fighters and one-on-one matches decided over two rounds. You select from a roster that combines returning characters with newcomers, each with projectiles, movement specials and their own Fatalities. The control layout uses separate punch, kick and block buttons, supporting the series’ uppercuts, sweeps and juggle combos. Stages are drawn from the game’s outworld locations, with certain arenas allowing environmental finishers. Alongside Fatalities, you can perform alternate finishing moves that change a defeated opponent instead of killing them. Hidden fighters and secret battles can be triggered under specific conditions during single-player play. Modes cover the single-player ladder against CPU opponents and two-player versus matches, with adjustable difficulty settings.
