Mortal Kombat Trilogy – PS1 Game

Mortal Kombat Trilogy is a compilation-style 2D fighting game that brings together fighters and arenas from the first three Mortal Kombat titles. You pick a character and battle through rounds against opponents, using special moves, combo strings, Fatalities, Babalities and Friendships entered as button and direction commands. The Aggressor meter builds during a match and briefly increases your speed and damage once it is full. Alongside the standard single-player ladder there is head-to-head play for two people on one console. The roster is large, mixing ninjas, cyborgs, bosses and other series regulars, and stages include familiar locations such as pits and temples. The PlayStation version presents the digitised sprite art and gore of the arcade games, with loading pauses between fights and an audio soundtrack backing the arenas.
